Y Combinator Criticized for Backing ‘Slave-Control’ AI

AI for controlling slaves is out – it’s no joke. Startups from India believe in themselves so much that they have released on Y Combinator a neural network that controls workers in sweatshop factories.

For those who don’t know, sweatshops are workshops where children, women, and migrants sit on chains near the workplace and rivet clothes and other goods for 18 hours a day in exchange for food.
